Providing Treatment Options for All Skin Types

Not everybody’s skin is the same, therefore not all treatment options should be the same. There are many different types of skin types including oily skin, dry skin, combination skin, normal skin, and sensitive skin. When choosing products, there will be different ingredients to help better treat your skin type and any conditions you want to address. Understanding your skin type can help you find the best options for your skin to achieve the best results. Not sure what skin type you have? Below is a brief description of each skin type. Our medical professionals will also assist you in determining your skin type and finding the best treatment options for your needs.

Oily Skin:

Oily skin tends to have a shiny or greasy appearance, large or obvious pores on the skin, thick or rough appearance, occasional or persistent pimples, or clogged pores and blackheads.

Combination Skin:

Combination skin is a combination of both oily and dry skin, specifically oily around the t-zone area(forehead, chin and nose) and drier on the rest of the face.  Those with combination skin may experience mild breakouts and dryness at the same time.

Dry Skin:

Dry skin may have a rough and/or flaky texture, cracks in the skin, can feel itchy, painful, or may sting or burn.

Normal Skin:

Normal skin is well-balanced and experiences few imperfections. It is not overly sensitive. Pores are minimally visible. The complexion looks bright.

Sensitive Skin:

Sensitive skin is more reactive and can become itchy, experience burning and/or itching, and redness.
