How to Maintain Your Microneedling Results
After receiving your microneedling treatment, there are a few steps you can follow the ensure your results last as long as possible!
Limit Sun Exposure:
After your treatment, your skin will be more sensitive to sunlight for the first couple of weeks. To allow your skin time to heal properly we recommend to avoid sun exposure as much as possible. Be sure to use sunscreen as directed by your microneedling treatment specialist – this may differ from your normal daily application.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals:
Avoiding products that include strong exfoliates, scented products, retinols, and glycolic acid or alpha hydroxy acids. Talk to your specialist about your daily skin care routine to learn which products you should avoid during the time your skin is healing.
Refrain From Touching Your Face:
After your microneedling treatment, your skin is going to be sensitive. Try to avoid touching your face to prevent dirt and oil from your hands getting onto the treatment area. When applying skin creams, as directed, be sure to wash your hands with water and soap first.
