Both, Basal Cell Carcinoma and Squamous Cell Carcinoma are rarely life threating. These types of skin cancer do not spread to other areas and only affect the surrounding tissue. Malignant Melanoma, can become life threatening is not treated in time. With early treatment, malignant melanoma is curable.
